Overview

The Healthcare Administration degree at Utah Tech University will include upper division courses in quality management, health policy, patient safety, population health, health administration, biostatistics, epidemiology, leadership, and research methods. Students will also complete undergraduate research in their field. Completing a bachelor's degree prepares these graduates to move into supervisory positions within a healthcare system and progress to graduate programs.

At the successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

Compare and contrast the roles and responsibilities of organizations, professionals, clinicians, and individuals within the health industry.
Integrate information and knowledge to evaluate and analyze operational performance, fiscal performance, and strategic plans of health organizations to develop interventions for improvement.
