Literature majors explore the history of ideas and literary texts from different parts of the world, empowering them to develop their own values and become independent, critical thinkers. Creative Writing students hone their craft as storytellers and poets, reading and writing in small workshops.

Visit the Self Service Center to upload the following documents:

Copy of passport name/photo page (and any dependent(s))

Evidence of Financial Support (original bank statement signed and stamped by the bank) for one academic year, $34,175 USD

Unofficial transcripts, translated into English from all institutions attended outside the U.S.

official international transcripts must be provided after arrival

official U.S. transcripts must be provided prior to admission

Request to have official scores on the English language test sent directly to SVSU (if scores are not submitted or are below requirements, conditional admission may be offered)

Request to have official SAT or ACT scores sent directly to SVSU for additional scholarship consideration. (NOT REQUIRED).
