The faculty in both the Department of Chemistry as well as the College of Education believe in the importance of hands-on learning experiences.

Whether it's time spent in the laboratory working with state-of-the-art research equipment or in classrooms working with students during early field experiences and student teaching, you'll graduate with the knowledge and experience needed to excel as an educator.

After completing the requirements, Chemistry 7-12 Teaching Subject Endorsement graduates will be fully qualified to teach chemistry in grades 7-12 at middle or high school systems or to pursue an advanced academic degree.

Unofficial test scores will not be accepted. Students submit official test scores in the following ways:

submit the official score report issued to them by the testing company

have scores sent directly to UNK from the testing center or company

submit a high school transcript showing successful completion of a CEFR level of B2 or higher.
