Key features

The Art K-12 Teaching Field Endorsement program's requirements include a wide range of studio courses to develop creative ability, methodology courses for academic competence, courses for understanding the philosophy and psychology of art education, methods for teaching students with diverse needs, and developing integrated curriculums.

Art Education students University of Nebraska Kearney at have many opportunities to experience the practical application of what they learn in class by working with PK–12 students through more than 100 hours of direct art-classroom observations and field experiences. Students also spend a full semester student teaching in a PK–12 program.

Unofficial test scores will not be accepted. Students submit official test scores in the following ways:

submit the official score report issued to them by the testing company

have scores sent directly to UNK from the testing center or company

submit a high school transcript showing successful completion of a CEFR level of B2 or higher.
