Overview

TheBusiness Systems and Processes major at Towson University focuses on empowering students with hands-on experience in ERP designs, configurations, and applications to help IT organizations and end users and improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and security. Specifically, students in this major will be able to define and explain ERP concepts, processes, and values in an organizational environment; utilize an ERP system to manage a variety of business functions and an organization; generate business intelligence using ERP to support decision making; and help organizations drive operational and process effectiveness and efficiency. Courses include hands-on training in SAP, SAP Lumira, and Salesforce. In addition, students gain insight into process automation and learn tools like UiPath.

With the BSAP major you will:

Learn how to manage integrated business processes and make decisions that transform business environments and practices.

Be trained in the market-leading SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and earn the SAP Recognition Award.

Gain both the technology and business skills needed to position yourself competitively in the employment market place.

Become qualified for careers in business with positions such as systems analyst, operations analyst, master data analyst, SAP consultant, among others.
