Overview

With the State University of New York Plattsburgh's Accounting and Data Analytics Combined programme, you‘ll gain a solid foundation in accounting. To help you integrate into the world of business, you‘ll take courses in economics, finance, and management. Strong writing and career development components are built in, giving you to tools you‘ll need to effectively communicate and succeed in accounting.Once you’ve completed the undergraduate portion of the program with a minimum of 120 credits, you will receive your B.S. in accounting, and then will continue — given you have the required GPA — to your final year and complete their M.S. in data analytics and accounting, which includes 10 state-of-the-art courses.

While the undergraduate portion of the program provides a solid foundation in accounting and related business areas, the graduate portion focuses on lab-based courses that enables you to use data analytics tools to develop expertise on how to interpret, visualize and model data, estimate and forecast outcomes based on existing information, and help guide future business decisions. Interpersonal and leaderships skills will help you work with teams to design creative data analytics solutions to complex business problems.
