Learning Outcomes

Graduates of this Accounting Technology program from Kent State University will be able to:

Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to analyze and record business transactions, prepare financial statements and complete all other procedural steps in the accounting cycle of a company

General requirements

New first-year applicants must finish secondary school in their home country by the time of enrollment to be eligible for university (comparable to the completion of senior high school in the U.S.). A student who has previously enrolled in a post-secondary (higher education) institution is required to apply as a transfer student.
Kent State campuses at Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas, and the Twinsburg Academic Center, have open enrollment admission for students who hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
