In today’s fast-changing nursing profession, you need a bachelor’s degree to get ahead. A BSN can boost your earning power, open the door to new opportunities and build your skills as a nurse and a professional.Central Michigan University's nursing completion program offers you a streamlined path to the BSN. Designed for working nurses or recent graduates with an associate's degree preparing for the NCLEX-RN examination, our program is offered entirely online. Depending on the courses you transfer into the program, you can complete the degree in a year with full-time online classes, or take classes at a slower pace — it’s entirely up to you.

Whichever path you take, you’ll learn in a community of students and faculty who share your drive for excellence and support you in becoming a leader. You’ll also graduate with the credentials you need to take the next step in a rewarding career.

Earn your bachelor’s degree in a year by taking courses full-time.

Enter the program at six different times of year: August, October, January, March, May or June.

We take several things into consideration when evaluating applications for admission, including GPA, test scores (optional) and academic improvement over time.

As part of the online application, you’ll need to pay a $40 application fee. If your family is experiencing financial hardship, speak to your high school guidance counselor to see whether you qualify for a fee waiver.

You may submit an unofficial transcript with your application, or ask your school counselor to submit your official transcript. We can provide an admission decision and merit scholarship with either one. Keep us updated with new transcripts at the end of each semester. It may mean an upgrade in your scholarship.

You don’t have to submit a test score in order to be admitted and earn a merit award.
