Overview

This Economics, Statistics and Mathematics with Year Abroad (Hons) BSc degree from Queen Mary University of London combines economics, statistics, and mathematics to prepare you for roles where you’ll apply quantitative techniques to real-world challenges.

The programme is jointly delivered by the School of Economics and Finance and the School of Mathematical Science, so you’ll learn from experts across both fields. Many of our teaching staff also have practical experience and work closely with industry organisations including HM Treasury, the Debt Management Office, and the Bank of England.

Grades AAA at A-Level. This must include A-Level Mathematics. Excludes General Studies, Critical Thinking and Use of Mathematics.

International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 36 points overall, including 6,6,6 from three Higher Level subjects. This must include a minimum of 6 in Standard Level Mathematics, if not being studied at Higher Level. We will consider either Mathematics: Applications and interpretation or Mathematics: Analysis and approaches at Standard or Higher Level. Excludes Maths Studies.
