Through live-action demonstrations, lectures, and immersive hands-on practice, students will be provided with the solid foundational skills of classic and emerging culinary trends and techniques – all in an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Conestoga College Culinary Skills (Co-op) programme offers the beneficial opportunity of a four-month paid co-op work term. Co-op education provides students with a real-life working experience as well as the chance to network with community partners in varying food services.

Careers

Graduates are employed in a variety of settings including the hospitality industry and institutional food service facilities. After completion of the requisite industry training and experience, graduates are eligible to write the Provincial Trade of Cook Certificate of Qualification examination.
