Overview

Students in the International Business program at Northeastern University develop the skills and knowledge needed to work across cultures and differing business practices, both virtually and face-to-face. Program curriculum examines how a global environment impacts a student's chosen concentration.

Knowledge about other cultures and practices is best learned on location and experientially. BSIB students are expected to complete at least two semesters of study and/or cooperative education placements in a country other than where they grew up. Students can begin meeting this eligibility through a semester overseas in the N.U.in program. Students are encouraged to become proficient in a second language.

Careers

Upon graduation, students are able to make an impact from day one at companies that are engaged in business internationally. Graduates can also work in their home country for a company that operates internationally as well as overseas on a foreign assignment.

Your Common Application or Coalition Application
Your application must be submitted by the deadline, along with either the application fee ($75) or a fee waiver request.
Your Secondary School Report and Official High School Transcript must be submitted directly from your high school.
Optional Standardized Testing.
All applicants from US and international high schools will be able to choose to submit standardized testing (SAT or ACT) or not.
Non-native English-speaking applicants must continue to submit official results from an approved English Language Test or request a waiver through the Application Status Check.
English Proficiency: All students, regardless of citizenship must demonstrate English language proficiency when applying to Northeastern.
