Overview
About the Program
The Nursing program of Rutgers University offers students a rigorous liberal arts education combined with hands-on clinical experiences and high-tech simulation practices – providing them with a solid foundation for entry-level careers and a platform to pursue advanced nursing degrees in clinical practice, research, administration, and policy.
Students are immersed in civic engagement through service learning opportunities at home and around the world. These experiences help them to recognize the causes and innovative solutions to complex social problems, while they develop skills critical for success in the workplace. Early on, our scholars build knowledge and skills in population health and team-based care through study and clinical practice. For students who qualify, we offer direct entry into graduate-level courses allowing them to explore advanced nursing practice, research, and administration.
Rutgers University–Camden delivers a world-class academic experience in a small, friendly campus and at a competitive tuition rate. The Bridging the Gap program offers greater access to a nursing education for qualified first-year and transfer students and helps to build a diverse nurse workforce.Programme Structure
