Overview

Modules from the School of Business and Management make up a quarter of our Geography with Business Management (Hons) programme offered at Queen Mary University of London – you’ll learn about financial management, marketing, strategy and human resources. Then you’ll spend most of your week in the School of Geography learning about issues defining our present, like international development, geopolitics and the changing nature of work.

Many of our modules contain fieldwork in London, the UK and overseas too. Maybe you’ll head to Spitalfields market to examine urban consumption or travel to Boston to meet climate change activists and tech entrepreneurs.

Careers

Many of our Geography with Business Management graduates use their subject knowledge directly, in business analysis, responsible investing, marketing or political risk analysis. Others take their transferable skills into other careers, from social research to finance.

General requirements

Grades ABB at A-Level. Excludes General Studies.

International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 32 points overall, including 6,5,5 from three Higher Level subjects.

Minimum five GCSE passes including English and Maths at grade C or 4.
We consider applications from students with the Access to Higher Education Diploma. The minimum academic requirement is to achieve 60 credits overall, with 45 credits at Level 3, of which 15 credits must be at Distinction and 15 credits at Merit or higher. Applications are considered on a case by case basis. Due to the high volume of applications, we do not make offers of study purely on the basis of meeting grade requirements.
