Key facts
- During the Occupational Therapy (Hons) programme from The University of Lancashire , combining academic and practice placement components, you’ll develop all the skills, knowledge and attributes needed to meet the Health and Care Professions Council requirements for registration as an occupational therapist.
- You’ll be supported on your practice placements by experienced and knowledgeable occupational therapist educators in at least four different practice settings.
- Once registered, occupational therapists can apply for posts in a wide variety of settings - hospitals, GP practices, residential homes, social services, charities, schools and prisons.
- Variety is one of the most exciting things about being an occupational therapist. As well as seeing different individual needs and conditions, you’ll also have the opportunity to work in multi-disciplinary teams in a range of settings - from hospitals to charities and social services departments.

- BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM in Health and Social Care
- BTEC Diploma: D* D* in Health and social care
- Pass Access Course: 120 UCAS points including 30 level 3 credits at Distinction
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 120 points from Higher Level Subjects

- IELTS: 7.0 with no Component lower than 6.5
