This Art and Design (Foundation Entry) (Hons) at The University of Lancashire is flexible and allows you to explore a range of creative subjects before deciding what you'd like to study as a degree.

You’ll work in a studio with facilities like wood and plaster workshops, textiles workshops, digital design equipment and more.

Once you have successfully completed your foundation year, you are guaranteed progression onto one of our art or media courses.

What you’ll do

You can explore a number of different subjects, including fine art, fashion design, textile design, photography and more.

You'll work on a number of projects, giving you the opportunity to try different specialisms in greater depth.
