General requirements
- Admissions is the first step for students who plan to pursue a degree in the Collat School of Business. Admission decisions are made by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and are based on high school GPA and highest composite ACT or SAT score.
- Students who pursue Business upon admittance to UAB are admitted to the Collat School of Business in their declared major. An undeclared business major is available for students who know they want to study business, but not yet sure on specific area.
- The Collat School of Business offers a unique resource for incoming freshman students. The Director of Freshman Success, Andrea Miller Pound, will be with you every step of the way throughout your freshman year. From advising you on classes, teaching study techniques, to educational and professional development.
