Overview
Our 100% online curricular innovation incorporates ethics, informatics, and inter-professional practice. The entry option is designed to facilitate either part-time or full-time study. Students with an A.A.S. degree will need additional general education courses as required by the university general education guidelines.
Plan of Study and Degree Requirements
The Nursing BSN degree at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University requires 120 semester hours for graduation, 56 semester credit hours may be transferred from another academic institution, and 34 proficiency credits are awarded after completion of NURS 360, for the Associate degree and current RN license. The remaining 31 credit hours will be taken in the major.
Prospective students are required to complete prerequisites at local community colleges prior to seeking admission to the BSN completion option. Many of the courses required as prerequisites are taken while in the Associate degree nursing programs. However, up to three general education courses may be taken after enrollment.
