Highlights

The mission of the Department of Accounting and Finance from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University is to produce leaders who increase the competitiveness of their organizations through effective analysis and communication of financial information. We will achieve this mission through innovative instruction and relevant practical scholarship in a diverse and inclusive, student-focused environment.

Our is one of the nation's largest programs in production of African American CPAs. And we have just launched a Master of Accountancy program that will add a rich, new dimension to our college (The MBA option only is available online).

Each year, our accounting majors are recruited by the Big Four accounting firms as well as national and regional accounting firms, Fortune 500 companies, and industrial firms, and large governmental agencies. These companies also offer an abundance of opportunities for summer internships.

Accreditation

We were the first accounting program at a Historically Black College or University to receive the prestigious accreditation of AACSB International.

Complete, sign and return the International Student Data Form.

Provide a photocopy of the identification page(s) in your passport or official document showing the correct name combination you will be using inside the United States and at the university.
If you are currently in F-1 or J-1 status inside the United States provide the OIA with documents confirming your current legal status to include the Certificate of Eligibility (I-20/DS-2019), the I-94 (front and back), a valid passport and U.S. visa stamp pages, etc. You must complete the SEVIS transfer process.
