Overview

Due to their extensive expertise and facilities, the departments of Mathematical Sciences and Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science have jointly designed the Data Science certificate. 

This Data Science - Computer Science Track from Florida Atlantic University has two tracks: Computer Science (CS) and Mathematical Sciences (MathSci). Only the Computer Science track is available online. The Data Science certificate draws the 15 credits from Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics.

    The TOEFL®PBT is administered in a paper format and measures your ability to use and understand English in a classroom setting at the college or university level. It accurately measures how well you can listen, read and write in English while performing academic tasks.

General Requirements

  • Submit official transcripts from all high schools attended with a certified translation of each transcript. The school must send official transcripts. Required academic records must be original or certified true copies sent by the school in a sealed envelope. 
  • All records should be submitted in the native language and accompanied with an official English translation. Students may also submit a NACES accredited evaluation.
  • SAT and ACT test scores are required for all freshman applicants as well as for all students with less than 60 credits from an accredited post-secondary institution.
