Upon completion of this Business Administration program from Glendale Community College, students will be able to recognize, analyze, and assess current economic challenges facing global and domestic businesses; analyze, evaluate, and explain business problems using basic concepts and terminology of accounting and finance; and understand and apply the four P’s of marketing, business law, investments, and management.
Students will be provided with a fundamental knowledge of business functions, processes, and an understanding of business organizations in today’s global economy. The coursework covers a spectrum of business concepts including accounting procedures, written business communications, human relations as they apply to the business environment, investment principles, the operation of securities markets, American monetary system and financial institutions, managerial functions, and marketing techniques.
