Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

General Requirements

  • 1-Semester: TOEFL iBT 80 (17 subscores in reading and writing), IELTS 6.5 (6.0 subscores in reading and writing), PTEA 53+, Completion of Academic English Core and OCS Level 5 or higher, or IELA 176 (169 subscores in reading and writing).
  • 2-Semester: TOEFL iBT 60 (13 subscores in reading and listening), IELTS 5.5 (5.5 subscores in reading and listening), PTEA 45+.
  • 3-Semester: TOEFL iBT 50 (10 all subscores), IELTS 5.0 (4.5 all subscores), PTEA 41, Password 5.0 in Knowledge and 4.0 in Writing, Completion of Academic English Core and OCS Level 3 or higher, IELA 154 (147 all subscores), or Duolingo 45.
  • Age requirements: 17 years and above.
  • High school diploma; 2.5 minimum GPA equivalent.
