General requirements
- UCAS tariff points: 112-128
- At least two A Levels, including Biology or Biological Science at grade C or above, or equivalent Level 3 qualifications. Alternatively, a BTEC Extended Diploma in an appropriate science subject with grades Distinction, Merit, Merit to Distinction, Distinction, Merit (DMM - DDM).
- GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, or a recognised equivalent, is also required.
- Alternatively, we will consider a range of Level 3 qualifications, such as an Access Course in a relevant science subject (e.g. Biology, Science, Medicine or Medical and Biosciences). This will need to have been passed with 112 UCAS points, with a minimum of 21 Level 3 credits in Biology and/or Chemistry at a Merit grade. Applications from those who have undertaken a Science foundation year will also be considered.
