General requirements
- UCAS tariff points: 112-128
- At least two A Levels, including Biology or Human Biology with a minimum of Grade C. Alternatively, a BTEC Extended Diploma in an appropriate science subject: Distinction, Merit, Merit (DMM) or equivalent qualifications. Or a Merit in T-Level science, including a minimum of a B in the Core component and a merit in the Occupational Specialism, either in laboratory sciences or metrology sciences.
- GCSE Mathematics at grade C/4 or above, or a recognised equivalent, is also required.
- Alternatively, we will consider a range of Level 3 qualifications, such as an Access Course in a relevant Science subject. This will need to have been passed with 112 UCAS points, including 39 level 3 credits in Chemistry and Biology units, with a minimum of 24 credits at Merit grade. Applications from those who have undertaken a Science foundation year will also be considered.
