Overview
The Recreation and Parks Management (with Concentration in Hospitality Management and Tourism) degree from Frostburg State University is a collaborative program with Allegany College of Maryland (ACM). This is a unique program that combines the ability of the community college to teach practical skills with a traditional four-year education. Students have several options in completing this program, such as:
- Taking classes on both campus
- Beginning at Allegany College and transferring to Frostburg State University
- Beginning at Allegany College and completing the AAS degree and transfer to Frostburg State University to complete the remaining 3 semesters to complete the BS degree.
- Beginning at Frostburg State University and then completing courses at Allegany College
- Beginning at Frostburg State University and completing the concentration and then transfer or “reverse articulate” the Frostburg general education credits to Allegany College to complete the AAS degree.
