Overview

The Recreation and Parks Management (with Concentration in Hospitality Management and Tourism) degree from Frostburg State University is a collaborative program with Allegany College of Maryland (ACM). This is a unique program that combines the ability of the community college to teach practical skills with a traditional four-year education. Students have several options in completing this program, such as:

Taking classes on both campus
Beginning at Allegany College and transferring to Frostburg State University
Beginning at Allegany College and completing the AAS degree and transfer to Frostburg State University to complete the remaining 3 semesters to complete the BS degree.
Beginning at Frostburg State University and then completing courses at Allegany College
Beginning at Frostburg State University and completing the concentration and then transfer or “reverse articulate” the Frostburg general education credits to Allegany College to complete the AAS degree.
