Field Experience Opportunities

Our nursing program provides you with hands-on opportunities at some of the top hospitals in the Boston area. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge at hospitals such as Massachusetts General, Brigham and Women’s, and Boston Children's Hospital. This allows you to get an early start in providing direct care to patients in a variety of settings that will bolster your resume and help you decide which direction to take your professional nursing career.

To be considered for the nursing major, students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and no courses below 2.0 (C). Students must earn a B- (2.7) in all NU courses. Once a student matriculates into the nursing major, an overall GPA of 2.7 and a 2.7 (B minus) grade in all nursing courses must be maintained.
