Overview
Students completing the Special Education program of Rockford University will have satisfied the requirements of the university and Illinois State Board of Education licensure requirements leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree or a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and a Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement. LBS1 endorsement candidates are also eligible for early childhood special education approval upon completion of four additional courses.
