The Mathematics major at Bethany College helps our students develop a strong analytical mind, conceptual thinking ability, and technical readiness for systematic real-world problem solving. It is one of the most far-reaching majors, which finds itself effectively employed almost in all aspects of human productivity and creativity, and thus empowers each student with a flexible career choice.

General requirements
- Application for Admission
- Official high school or secondary school transcripts (with at least six semesters)
- All official post-secondary school transcripts
- Minimum high school GPA of 2.0 (based on a 4.0 scale). Occasionally the Admissions Committee may admit students on a conditional basis. Individual attention will be given to candidates who demonstrate academic promise but need strengthening in a skills area.
International:
- Students must have their transcripts from all schools outside of the USA submitted to InCred for evaluation and have the results forwarded to Bethany.
- If the student is from an English-speaking country, send ACT or SAT results. If English is not their native language, results from English proficiency tests must be submitted.
- Students must send a signed affidavit of support, a copy of their passport with photo, and a bank letter showing adequate funds to cover the cost of the first year of school or $50,000 minus Bethany Award.
