At AU, you can explore and follow your evolving interests within the vast field of commercial music.
Mentorship: We have a small, close-knit music faculty, so you’ll receive one-on-one attention from your professors. While other programs rely on teaching assistants to teach classes, your classes will be taught by experienced AU faculty members, such as commercial music director Dr. Derick Cordoba, a guitarist who has toured in the the United States and abroad for nearly a decade. He has performed in over 20 countries, recorded multiple albums in a variety of genres and is part of the band Further Seems Forever.
