Overview

Anderson University - Indiana students planning to teach a foreign language in secondary schools should also consult with the director of teacher education. In addition to a variety of formative teaching experiences in local schools and a final semester of student teaching, students earn a minimum of six credit hours toward their major through study abroad.

Most elect to go for an entire semester. Through these experiences we aim to graduate Spanish Teaching majors who demonstrate the content and pedagogical excellence and the intercultural humility necessary to lead in today’s schools and communities.
