Philosophy program at the Westminster College New Wilmington students combining a major in philosophy with a second major add depth and larger meaning to their studies, especially if students are interested in studying law, theology, social sciences, service professions, or language studies. 

Phi Sigma Tau the national honor society for philosophy, provides opportunities outside the classroom for growth and understanding by bringing students together who major or minor in philosophy. Members travel to conferences every year and hold weekly meetings during the semester to discuss philosophical topics. High-profile philosophy graduates include T.S. Eliot, Woody Allen, Mary Higgins Clark, Martin Luther King, Jr., Philip Glass, and Ethan Cohen.

  • Financial Resources & Requirements   International applicants should be prepared to meet the full cost of attendance - tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, and personal expenses for the calendar year - from personal or family resources or from funds supplied by their government or other outside sources. 

  • Complete the Financial Declaration for International Students, which is included in the Application. Amounts should be converted to $US dollars.
  • The student’s record will be screened for a merit scholarship during the decision process. Students will be notified of the scholarship when he/she is accepted to Westminster College. No other financial aid will be available to international students.
