Politics majors gain understanding of major political and governmental concepts and institutions, including current and emerging challenges to the preservation of freedom and constitutional order. Classes are offered in three subfields—American Politics, World Politics and Political Theory—preparing students for the pursuit of professional careers in politics, law, government, public policy, academia and other fields.

At PBA, you'll:

Learn and comprehend the prophetic role of Christians in society.
Understand how the political system works, and be able to critically analyze political behavior.
Enjoy a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio and an average class size of just 19.
Take a Methodology of Political Science course that equips you with analytical research skills including content, aggregate data, roll call analysis and survey research, as well as the ability to make and interpret tables and graphs.
Have access to The LeMieux Center for Public Policy, an interdisciplinary center of excellence consistent with Palm Beach Atlantic University’s purpose and mission and supported by its location.
