You’ll gain practical and creative experience through interactions with professional artists in a variety of settings. You’ll be involved in Meredith’s exhibition program. Above all, you’ll learn to make art that matters.

The Studio Art program at Meredith College offers individualized instruction that helps students mature artistically and discover their personal style and preferred media. Students learn to function creatively through a variety of experiences designed to help them gain an understanding of the artistic process and human culture.

In addition to cultivating students’ artistic skills, the program instructs them on the basic business practices, legal rights and procedures, and presentation and marketing methods that lead artists to professional success.

Complete fully and return the Meredith College application for admission, along with the $40 application fee.

Have the appropriate school official(s) forward an official copy of the secondary-school record, complete with a listing of courses taken, grades obtained, credit received and rank in class; college or university transcript(s) if the student has taken any advanced work

If the student’s native language or primary language of instruction is English, take the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) of The College Board.

Send a school official recommendation and an academic teacher recommendation.

Students who are submitting university transcripts must also provide an independent course-by-course evaluation
