The Chemistry program of Wingate University can get you ready for the Wingate University School of Pharmacy and other pharmacy schools. We can also get you ready for these options:

Research

Immerse yourself in a research project for experience you can’t get any other way. Wingate University students and professors frequently present research at American Chemical Society conferences.

Lab Work

As a chemistry major, you have the advantage of working in four new research labs to complete required lab classes. You’ll conduct research projects as part of your major. You may also have the chance to work as lab assistants or stockroom assistants for more hands-on learning.

Internships

You can earn up to three hours of academic credit by completing an internship, an excellent way to see the life of a practicing chemist.
