You’ll have opportunities to learn about the myriad ways of helping and understanding through your courses, the faculty’s research activities (e.g., causes of burnout in sports, how happiness can be sustained over time, and how immigrants become acclimated to their new homes, sport brain injury, etc.), and through internships.
Through the process of inquiry- using curiosity, creativity and critical thinking- in the Psychology program at Manhattanville College you’ll learn to frame questions, find the information and perform the research that answers these questions, understand the meaning of research results, and understand how they might be applied. These skills and understanding will be learned and practiced in coursework, independent research, and internship experiences.
