At Intercultural Studies major of John Brown University you will have the opportunity to experience a diverse community on-campus and in the surrounding Siloam Springs and Northwest Arkansas area. You can choose between three concentrations in which you will practice humility in preparation for your career.

Intercultural studies students get the chance to experience other cultures first-hand through the cultural diversity in this community, including Hmong, Hispanic, Somali and refugees from numerous locations.

Students will understand how their story connects with God's story for the nations. They learn to approach and engage other cultures with an inquisitive and humble attitude, decentering their own worldview to see the world through the eyes of others.
In the intercultural studies major, students choose one of three emphases to specialize their skillset for when they graduate. Concentrations include community development, intercultural ministries and international studies.

For admission, we require a 2.5 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and either a 20 ACT, 1020 SAT or 66 CLT score. We do not score the writing portions of these tests.
We do not use a superscore (taking the best scores if students take the ACT or SAT multiple times) for acceptance. However, once accepted, we will calculate your superscore for academic scholarships.
