Digital Media Technology from Pennsylvania Western University prepares you to design and deliver exciting visual content using print technologies such as lithography, flexography and screen printing, or digital media that can be viewed on smartphones, computers, laptops and other devices.

PennWest’s digital media technology program focuses on technical, hands-on laboratory courses that give you a foundation in both print and multimedia technology. You’ll build a solid foundation in the liberal arts while honing your written and oral communications and critical thinking skills before delving into major-specific coursework, including digital photography, vector-based graphics, 3-D animation, web publishing and a variety of print media topics.

Professors with extensive experience in print and multimedia production will serve as your mentors and guides. You’ll gain hands-on experience working in PennWest’s five on-campus labs. They’re equipped with the latest multimedia design hardware, Adobe Creative Suite and other software and industry-standard printers, presses, screen imaging facilities and more.
