Students learn to see and appreciate the complexities of social life, and learn to understand society and individuals in a variety of settings. Sociology majors find themselves prepared for graduate study in sociology, law, social work, gerontology, communication, criminal justice, urban planning, the ministry, and a variety of other fields.
