Overview
The Special Education program from Benedictine University trains students to be effective practitioners in the education of diverse children and youth with mild to severe disabilities through a blend of classroom and fieldbased learning experiences. Upon graduation, students receive a Professional Educator License (PEL) and are prepared to teach preschool to age 21 students, within a wide range of settings.
