The English - Adolescence Education program at the State University of New York Fredonia prepares students to teach English to middle and high school students, and leads to New York State certification grades 7-12. Fredonia will help future English teachers develop the ideas and practices that will make them effective in the classrooms of an increasingly complex and diverse society.
