Overview

Sport management may be most easily described as the business end of sport studies. But the field goes well beyond that definition. Students who graduate the Sport Management program of the Southeast Missouri State University have multiple professional opportunities open for them. From marketing and ticket sales to community relations, Southeast graduates are prepared to work in any niche in the sport industry. Graduates from Southeast work in intercollegiate and professional sports in a number of capacities.

Students gain experience in NCAA Division I athletics, an active student recreation program that features two recreation centers, as well as multiple golf courses in the area.

Sport Management graduates work in professional and collegiate sport settings, and private sport industries. Examples of job titles include athletics manager, facilities manager, event coordinator, sports marketer, sports agent, sports merchandising manager and corporate ticket sales manager.

English proficiency tests

Diploma from a U.S. high school

Diploma from an international school with U.S. regional accreditation

Diploma from IB curriculum school whose sole medium of instruction is English

Diploma from a non-U.S. high school/secondary education where English language is the sole medium of instruction.

SAT test score of 450 or higher on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section.

A score of 21 or better Combined English/Writing score on the ACT Plus Writing test

Successful completion of Level 112 in the ELS Language School
