The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has acknowledged that this major is aligned with SHRM’s HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates-2013.

Graduates of the Management - Human Resources Management program of the Southeast Missouri State University work in the areas of recruiting, workforce development training, and compensation and benefits administration. Examples of job titles include human resource manager, employee relations manager, compensation or benefit specialist, HR information systems specialist, training and development specialist, recruiter and HR generalist.

English proficiency tests

Diploma from a U.S. high school

Diploma from an international school with U.S. regional accreditation

Diploma from IB curriculum school whose sole medium of instruction is English

SAT test score of 450 or higher on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section.
