Overview
Upon successful completion of the Literature - Theatre program at the Reed College, a student will have developed the skills and knowledge required for successful completion of both a Theatre major and a literature major (Chinese, Classics, English, French, German, Russian, Spanish).
Learning Outcomes
The primary assessment tool for learning in the major at Reed and the level of student achievement in the major area is the senior thesis; the junior qualifying examination, which assesses a student's readiness for thesis, provides a second assessment tool. Literature-Theatre majors take two junior qualifying examinations, one in Theatre and one in a department from the Division of Literature and Languages.
