To give you the most out of your program, we embed a K-12 Technology endorsement in every education degree, allowing our students to teach computer classes post-graduation. You’ll also complete observation courses and a yearlong student teaching residency; giving you experience in classroom management, Common Core State Standards, teaching methods, and more.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the Biology Education program from Dakota State University, students will:

General requirements
In order to demonstrate your academic ability to meet the academic challenges at DSU, you’ll need to meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Maintain an above-average academic record at least equivalent to a "B-" (2.60 on a 4.00 GPA scale)
- Be in the top 60% of your class
- Get an ACT composite score of 18 or above, or get an SAT score of 950 or above with subscores of at least 480 on the Math and 450 on the Critical Reading

- Your academic transcripts need to be originals or official certified true copies. If your transcripts are not in English, certified true translations must be attached.
