Overview
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BS) can expand your career options as you advance. You can work in a wider range of environments that are non-hospital settings, such as teaching and case management, you can expect a higher salary, and you’ll be eligible for opportunities in acute care hospitals and public health agencies that often only hire nurses with a bachelor’s degree.
The Nursing (RN to BSN) program at Framingham State University has been developed to be flexible with the working professional nurse in mind. All classes are offered in a hybrid/blended learning format (combines online learning with traditional on-campus classroom experiences) that follow a traditional 15-week academic semester and encourages self-directed learning, critical thinking, independent action, and professional awareness.
