Majors benefit from a structured interdisciplinary approach to Latin America that highlights the region-specific expertise of Davidson faculty across the curriculum. This major offers students the tools to conceptualize the region as a whole in order to engage in critical comparisons of cultures, to integrate Latin America's past into the evaluation of its present, and to problem-solve contemporary issues.

Approved study abroad or other significant off-campus experience in Latin American/Latino communities prior to graduation.
