- Music Education majors can choose from two degree options: Bachelor of Music Education - Instrumental/General K-12 or Bachelor of Music Education - Vocal/General K-12 (with possible keyboard emphasis).

- UW-River Falls has an active Collegiate National Association for Music Education (CNAfME) chapter.

- Application: Complete a Universities of Wisconsin application.
- Admissions Processing Fee: A non-refundable $50 international admissions processing fee is required.
- Passport: Submit a copy of your passport’s biographical page (page with picture, name and date of birth).
- Evidence of English language proficiency: Submit approved test scores or evidence of English proficiency. See approved scores and ESL programs.
- Certification of Finances Form: Complete and sign the Certification of Finances Form.
- Bank Statement: Submit supporting financial documentation that provides proof of liquid funding available to you. Funding must be greater than or equal to the estimated expenses listed on the Certification of Finances Form.
- Academic Records: Submit academic records from your secondary school showing a graduation date or secondary education completion date.
