About the program

All three tracks in the Public Health program at Tarleton State University are offered at the Stephenville campus. The final year of classes for the Laboratory Professional with ASCP Certification in Microbiology concentration will be held at the Fort Worth campus.

Program Objectives

Provide a foundation for students whose goal is to work in the Public Health Industry after graduation or continue their education through Graduate Studies in Public Health.

Prepare students to promote health education, healthy lifestyles and choices as well as prevent diseases and enhance quality of life in whichever community they work in.

Prepare students for work in a public health laboratory at the local, state or national level.
