We offer a bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Our robust undergraduate degree program builds from a strong foundation of math, physics, and engineering subjects so, in your upper-level courses, you focus on digital logic, circuits, computers, communications, electronics, and electromagnetics — which you explore through individual study and research, as well as through group projects and interdisciplinary collaborations.

In addition to your coursework, you can build an autonomous robot that navigates unfamiliar terrain; launch a satellite into space; or work closely with a professor to begin your research projects as a freshman.

The math foundation is so strong that, with only one additional math course, you can earn a math minor along with your engineering degree.

The upper-level courses focus on modern technology and how quickly the electrical and computer engineering field evolves. We explore emerging technologies, focusing on those in telecommunications and software.
