Real-world Experience

Internships are a requirement of our communications degree programs. Students of Communications program at Pace University will earn academic credit and gain valuable professional skills as well as build a network of industry contacts. Whichever program or concentration you choose, you will acquire the skills needed to succeed, including:

Networking

Students on the Pace PLV campus may be eligible to join the Mu Iota Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta (LPH), a student organization of the National Communication Association. Lambda Pi Eta, and the MCVA department hosts an annual networking event, Connections in Communications, to bring together professionals in the field with current undergraduate majors. This event is a great way for students to make contacts in the communications industry.

  • Identification: Send a photocopy or fax of your valid passport/national identity card displaying your photo and name.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation from a teacher or counselor who knows you well and can attest to your academic potential and personal characteristics. 
  • Course descriptions or syllabus (in English) from each post-secondary school attended (transfer applicants only).
  • Official test scores and other educational materials must be sent directly from the testing authority or institution.
  • Official transcripts, diplomas, and leaving examination scores from secondary and post-secondary schools (in English).
