Description
Established by George McElveen III in memory of his mother, Ethel Leona Plowden McElveen, the scholarship forms part of the Wardlaw Scholarship scheme for academically gifted students experiencing financial difficulty.
Benefits
£4,400 paid as maintenance but can be used towards University accommodation fees.
Eligibility
- Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria.
- Please note that as the Wardlaw scholarships are donor-funded, core personal details may be passed to the benefactors of your scholarship with your permission. This permission is requested in the application form. If you select that you do not wish to be considered for donor funding, you will only be considered for the St Andrews Access Award.
